It's Time for the Broom

Today the Giant's swept the Nationals over a four game series. Good job boys! Tomorrow I will have to walk around to my PE classes with a broom and see if they know why and teach them why if they don't know why. The preamble will be given that it has nothing to do with a witch.

Kudos to Ken Griffey Jr. for hitting home run 600 tonight. He is only the 6th man in baseball history to be part of the 600 club. Picture is from mail.com news.

Hi, Shells!

Great blogs on the Giants and ovarian cancer. I did not know that Julie had passed away. But the memorial walk is not only inspirational, it is also another example of the initiative, creativity and dedication to serving others that is a hallmark of the Werner family (and extended loved ones)!

Don't forget to email me once in a while - jerrepie@socal.rr.com - we have a ton of catching up to do!

Love you, Sis!

Hi Jerriepie,

Good to hear from you in my blog. I will be contacting you soon to catch up big time and to hopefully make plans to see each other over the summer.

Here are a few more links about my cousin from my blog: http://shellsonline.blogspot.com/2008/01/my-cousin-julie.html
and you can check out a web page that was created for her to keep everyone updated. You can see that on my blog roll under peach conquerer.

Have a great day!
Shelly
