The Lord Is

Image taken from Google Images

The Lord Is
The depths of Your grace who can measure
You fully supply all I need
You restore my weary soul again and again
And lead me in Your righteousness and peace

You’re with me through every dark valley
There’s nothing that I have to fear
You are there to comfort me again and again
Protecting me, assuring me You’re near

The Lord is
The Lord is my shepherd
The Lord is
The Lord is my shepherd
I shall not want
You gave Your own life for my ransom
So I could rejoice at Your side
You have shown Your faithfulness again and again
There’s nothing good that You will not provide

I will dwell in Your house
All the days of my life
I will dwell in Your house
All the days of my life

God is so faithful to soothe His children's weary hearts and causes them to continually go back to Him again and again. The Lord Is recently has been a huge encouragement to my heart. Work was very challenging for a few weeks several weeks back and much of my time was spent having a proper God honoring response. God brought this song to my mind countless times during those days. When I had the opportunity to drive around solo, this song was played over and over, often times one hand raised in worship to my Savior. I so love worship music that is a direct reflection of His Word.

Time for a New Look

Along with not doing any blog updates in a long while (except the post yesterday), I have not changed the look of my blog since the blog was created. Over time and most likely over Christmas break, I want to update my blog and give it a brand new cute look. Any suggestions? I want to stay with my blogger account but want to freshen things up somewhat. The pictures of me need to be brought up to date. A few friends that changed their blogs and did not have the best experience. I really don't want any big problems, I would not know how to fix them!

Back to the Blogging World

Thank you for hanging in there with me, I hope I have not lost some of you. The desire is back to spend some time blogging. I have posts lined up in my brain and I will try to do some "ketchup" and squeeze them out as time allows.

There have been birthday celebrations, mini trips, preserving, changes in seasons, pounds lost, miles walked, books of the Bible read and so much more. My little sister has been urging me to get out a post and I thank her for her encouragement and motivation. So, here is just a "briefing" of some of the highlights that I have time for this morning (Jen, Joe and the kids are in town for Thanksgiving and almost every daylight moment is spent with them).

A few weekends ago we celebrated Trinity's 4th birthday. She is growing up so fast. She is such a beautiful little girl. In the below picture we are waiting for Trin's friends to show up at Pump it Up.

Trinity is learning how to ride a bicycle with training wheels!

Trinity fondly calls Joey "brother". Brother is taking a ride on his scooter, with assistance.

Back in mid-October we celebrated Grandma's 95 birthday. This is our 4th annual birthday celebration up in Apple Hill. Grandma is still doing wonderful and defying age.

At the place I like to buy apples and pears, there were all of these old box labels that I thought were cool.

I'm learning how to take pictures and interesting shots.

This cart could barely contain all the goods that I purchased. Along with good eats for the next month, I canned 28 quarts of apple sauce. YUMMY!
