God- the Master Artist

The last several days have been so incredible and today especially so. I spent most of the day cloud gazing at work and driving in the car home from work. I am such a cloud lover. When I look at the depth, the complexity, the shape, the differing shades and types, and height of cloud I am almost left breathless. The heavens will be so much more amazing then the clouds. When I see clouds like these (by the way, I was unable to take pictures at work of the clouds but these were taken out through my windshield of my car on the way home from work), I am reminded that God put the clouds in the sky, that He formed them, He allows them to expand and cover the horizon as far as the eye can see. Clouds remind me of God's abundant faithfulness and love He has for me. Clouds like these almost take my breath away and I stand in awe of my Creator.

The top picture was God revealing the dawning of Spring with new life . God again shows His faithfulness. Winter lasts for a season and then He brings about Spring.

My Loves Were in Town

Jen, Joe and the kids were in town this past weekend. Friday, I took off from work and we went to the zoo and after the zoo we met mom and Grandma at Fenton's Creamery. Trinity is at such a wonderful age: she is so curious, smart, cute, lovey and loves to be around her aunties. Joey is quiet the cutie but he is at the "I'm a Mama's boy" stage. Every time I would be holding him and Jen would walk in or out of the room he would give a cry with big huge alligator tears. I just love them to pieces.

Sovereign Grace Music and Books SALE!

It's that time of year again when Sovereign Grace Music has a big sale on all of their CD's and books. Recently, I have really enjoyed the CD titled, "Come Weary Saints". Much of the music that is produced is considered as "modern hymns". Click here for the link of the sale.

Happy Valentine's Day

Jen sent me the best Valentine of my two loves. Trinity is now 3.3 yrs. and Baby Joey is .8 yrs. This week they are coming into town, I am so excited to see them and love on them.

This Week in the Garden

On Saturday, during a lull in the rain, I was able to pick some yummies from my garden. Here is about a head of romaine lettuce and several bunches of broccoli. I tell you, there is nothing like picking and eating the same day.

Fan Fest 2009

Last weekend was the SF Giants Fan Fest. I am so glad it was last weekend and not this weekend. Last weekend was perfect weather this weekend would have been a cold soggy mess. Last year my dad and I decided not to go to the Fan Fest because it was a crazy nut house last year. The year before last you would have thought you were going to the final game of the world series at AT&T Park and the Giants were one out from winning. Both my dad and myself were glad we were able to go this year. It is fun to be with my daddy, fun to start thinking about Giant's baseball and fun to be around everyone else in the SF Giant spirit.

Here are a few of my favorite shots at the ball park.

This is one of the entrances into the ball park.

Congrat's Timmy for being the 2009 Cy Young Award Winner. Way to go and keep it up this year!

I love this nice, little detail at the gates at the turn stiles.

Look at all of these people. There must have been 10,000-15,000 people there. Crazy. Some people were lined up all around the inside of the ball park to get an autograph.

Rumor has it that if a player hits a home run during a game and hits the glove, a random fan will win 1 million dollars. Mark McGuire also got close one time in batting practice.

I saw a softball home run competition one time and some fellow got real close.

"Have a Coke and a smile". (Just for you Jen).

One of my favorite things about the ball park is the kids lot above the left field bleachers. I have wanted to take a photo of all the little kids sitting on the bench, swinging their legs, wearing their SF Giants garb, looking like they are having a good time. Everyone in the photo wore the right clothing except one dude who is in his Raider football jersey~ get it together dude!

My dad's name is Chuck. So, as we walked around the stadium, I saw this shot and thought it was funny. I agree, "Talk to Chuck".

It's Been Awhile

Hi, sorry that I have been away for some time. I wish I had a really good excuse like I have been on a month long trip to some remote island in the South Pacific or that I was on a helicopter snow skiing trip. But no real reason, just busy I guess. If you still are around, thanks for your patience. It's funny, my brain has thoughts of potential blog posts all the time but to actually sit down and do them is a different story. Hopefully, I will get back into the swing of things.

Speaking of swing of things, baseball catchers and pitchers reported yesterday to Spring Training. Go Giants. Look at next post on the Giants Fan Fest last weekend.
